The shelves can blend into a room with a larger library, serve as ornamental shelving space or be a bookshelf on its own. With a few simple twists and turns your books and possessions are hidden away and you can lower your bed for a good night’s sleep. We include a premium memory foam Italian mattress and the sliding table. The table is a huge benefit, allowing you to have a dining table in a home where space does not permit, or just to have a hide away table and convertible bed which free up a big area during the day making any space more livable. This table does not have to be attached to the unit or can even be removed at a later date. You can use it on any wall in your home. For custom orders you can choose 2 tone finishes or all 1 tone: [table + shelving color] & [outside box + back panels]. Assembly required
This is a DIY install. Homes have different wall structures and it is important to get the correct anchors for your specific wall. For this reason, while most hardware is included in the packing we do require you to purchase your own wall anchors. After you determine your wall type (Drywall, Brick, Concrete, Wood etc) we can advise you on anchors or you can talk to your local hardware store or have your installer advise. The unit will revolve most easily on smooth surfaces, such as hardwood, but this would still work on carpet and some customers with thicker carpet have used a rolling mat. We can recommend options as well for carpet or if you have very softwood floors you want to protect.
Memory Foam Mattress
Compatto mattress included: Medium-firm two-layer memory foam mattress with the first layer being high density memory foam to adapt to your body without compression points, the second layer offers further support below. (US queen sheets and linens will work on this) You will have room for sheets and a thin duvet but expect to take off your pillows and thicker bedding. Materials and Build:
This is a highly specialized design that is uses thin Italian engineered panels that are malleable and light weight. The system uses a strong 1 piece welded metal bed frame with slatted wood to support the mattress. Connection bolts are in silver. We have black, brown and white cover caps (depending on your panel finish) for these available or leave silver like the videos. Tracks and groves – tracks are cut directly into the panels to allow the system to rotate. Metal latch locks are located on the top of the bed. Please view the videos for details. Storage and decor
The system is best used as a mix of decorative and storage items and we suggest putting heavier items in the middle and to not over do the storage of heavy goods on this system or it will become more difficult to rotate. Rotation works best on flat surfaces and thicker carpets might require more effort to turn.
